By the end of this course, learners will have an improved understanding of airway anatomy and management in both controlled and emergent situations. This is a multidisciplinary course with faculty specializing in anesthesiology, otolaryngology, trauma surgery, and emergency medicine, who will be reviewing airway management. Topics reviewed include adult and pediatric airway, including abnormalities from trauma, radiation, malignancy, as well as congenital malformation. We will review novel techniques and equipment.

With recent advances in endoscopic treatment of disorders of the sinuses, Eustachian tube, and ear, it is imperative that otolaryngologists are up to date on the latest surgical techniques. The first day of this course will highlight rhinologic topics, including surgery of the skull base, frontal sinus, and orbit. The second day will focus on treatment of Eustachian tube dysfunction.
