Education in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School is a collaborative effort between four clinical venues: Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital. These institutions work together to provide comprehensive subspecialty training in otolaryngology, including exposure to:
- Head and neck oncology
- Facial plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Thyroid and parathyroid surgery
- Otology and neurotology
- Pediatric otolaryngology
We offer otolaryngology training at various levels, including residency training through the HMS Otolaryngology Residency Program, clinical fellowships, research fellowships, post-doctoral training, as well as medical student education and sub-internships.
