More than 35 national and international experts gather annually in Boston for Surgery of the Thyroid and Parathyroid Glands, a continuing medical education course from Harvard Medical School. The meeting features lectures and panel sessions to facilitate discussions in the areas of endocrinology, radiology, and pathology.

This course seeks to bring practicing otolaryngologists up to date with the latest techniques in otologic surgery, including chronic ear disease, otosclerosis, vestibular disorders, and endoscopic ear techniques. Faculty will provide lectures and dissection demonstrations. Under the guidance of faculty, course participants will perform dissections on three fresh temporal bones in the state-of-the-art Mass Eye and Ear surgical skills lab.
Update in Head and Neck Cancer: 2020 will provide practitioners who care for patients with malignant diseases of the head and neck region with a comprehensive overview of the current standard of care practices for management of disorders of this region as well as an introduction and review of evolving and innovative treatment approaches. With recent advances in endoscopic treatment of disorders of the sinuses, Eustachian tube, and ear, it is imperative that otolaryngologists are up to date on the latest surgical techniques. The first day of this course will highlight rhinologic topics, including surgery of the skull base, frontal sinus, and orbit. The second day will focus on treatment of Eustachian tube dysfunction.
