Dr. Ronald DeVenecia is a board-certified otologist at Mass. Eye and Ear with clincial interestes in acute and chronic ear disease, acoustic neuroma and other lateral skull base tumors, auditory brainstem implants, and cochlear implants.
His research interests include studying auditory brainstem implants and electrical stimulation of the auditory system.
He received his doctorate in cell biology and anatomy and neuroscience from the Universtiy of Arizona and his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in otolaryngology and fellowship in otology/neurotology at Mass. Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School.
