Dr. Mark Brown is Medical Director of Mass Eye and Ear, Concord. He graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency training in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship training in head and neck reconstructive surgery and microvascular surgery at Mass Eye and Ear and also earned his MBA from George Washington University.

Dr. Brown’s career has spanned more than 25 years, during which time he has taught and practiced ear, nose and throat care in numerous states—including Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and Texas—and countries. In his most recent role, Dr. Brown practiced comprehensive ear, nose and throat care at Tauranga Hospital in New Zealand, where he also served as a consultant for the hospital’s house officers and registrars.

At Mass Eye and Ear, Dr. Brown continues to practice comprehensive ear, nose and throat care, seeing adult patients only. His interests include public health equity, business operations and general otolaryngology. More specifically, his clinical interests include medical and surgical treatment of nasal and sinus conditions, surgery of the thyroid and salivary glands and head and neck cancer treatment.
