Dr. John Rosowski is the Director of the Wallace Middle-Ear Research Unit at Mass. Eye and Ear. He studies the relationship between structure and function in the middle and external ear.

His recent work includes the measurement of middle-ear function in humans that may lead to improved ear surgery, as well as a theoretical analysis of hearing in mammals that lived in the age of dinosaurs.

He is working towards improvements in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conductive hearing loss.
