Jennifer Kim, MD, serves as the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mass Eye and Ear. She is dual board-certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and head and neck surgery, and her clinical interests include facial paralysis treatment, aging face surgery, cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, reconstruction of skin cancer defects and microtia reconstruction.

In her area of excellence, clinical expertise and innovation, Dr. Kim has authored book chapters, peer-reviewed publications and serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology. Her research interests include facial reanimation and microtia reconstruction. Additionally, Dr. Kim volunteers 3-4 weeks each year in Guatemala, Peru and Vietnam performing and teaching microtia reconstruction and facial reanimation surgery with H.U.G.S. and Medical Missions for Children.

Dr. Kim received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed her residency at the Harvard Program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, also at Mass Eye and Ear.
