Jeffrey S. Brown, MD
Jeffrey Brown, MD, has been in practice with Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants since 1991, operating at Winchester Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Brown attended Allegheny College as an undergraduate. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His internship in general surgery was at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He completed a combined residency at Boston University and Tufts University in 1991.
He served as the chief of the otolaryngology service at Winchester Hospital for over 20 years. He has been on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology since 1999 and was President from 2015 to 2017. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and as Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He was a Delegate to the Mass Medical Society and was on the Board of Surgeons at the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary. He has taught third year Tufts medical students since 1991. Currently, Dr. Brown is the site director for BIDMC otolaryngology residents on their community clinic rotation.
Dr. Brown enjoys spending his off-hours with his family, as well as cycling, gardening, skiing, playing the bass and dabbling in photography.
