Dr. Jeffrey Hoffman, Chief Medical Officer for the Cambridge Health Alliance and President of the Cambridge Health Alliance Physician Organization, is a board-certified ENT surgeon who specializes in thyroid and parathyroid disease. Dr. Hoffman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He subsequently completed his surgical residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and residency training at the Harvard Combined Residency Program in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.

With more than 25 years of clinical and leadership experience, Dr. Hoffman started his career as Chief of Otolaryngology at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) in Atlanta. In 2009, he became TSPMG’s Associate Medical Director of Specialty Care and, in 2017, became its Chief Operating Officer.

Throughout his career, Dr Hoffman has been invited to speak at regional and national meetings on both otolaryngology–head and neck surgery and health care management and delivery. He has won teaching awards for resident education and currently sits on the Alumni Board for the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Medical School and the Executive Advisory Board for the Leonard Davis Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
