Dr. Derrick Lin serves as the Interim Director of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Mass General Brigham. His clinical interests include head and neck cancer, cranial base surgery, microvascular reconstruction, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, skull base tumors, head and neck reconstruction, salivary gland tumors, and robotic surgery.

Dr. Lin has been an invited speaker at regional and national meetings and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and textbook chapters in the field. 

He received his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai before completing his residency in otolaryngology at Mass Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. He then completed clinical fellowships in head and neck oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
