With more than 15 years of experience in pediatric otolaryngology, Dr. Christopher Hartnick serves as the Director of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Division and the Pediatric Airway, Voice, and Swallowing Center at Mass Eye and Eye. Fellowship trained and board-certified in otolaryngology, Dr. Hartnick’s clinical interests include pediatric airway and pediatric voice. His primary research interests include the development of maturation of the pediatric vocal fold, pediatric voice disturbances, and pediatric outcomes studies.

Dr. Hartnick has been an invited speaker at regional, national, and international meetings and has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers in the field. He serves as the Physician Director on the Mass Eye and Ear Board of Directors and is the Vice Chair of Clinical Trials and Outcomes for the Department of Otolaryngology.

He earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine prior to completing his general surgery internship and residency in otolaryngology at Montefiore Medical Center. He subsequently completed his fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
