Board-certified in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery with more than 15 years of experience in the community, Dr. Cathy Chong practices general otolaryngology at Mass Eye and Ear's Weymouth and Duxbury locations. Dr. Chong's clinical interests include hearing loss, ear disease and ear surgery, general adult and pediatric otolaryngology, nasal/sinus disease including endoscopic sinus surgery, and allergy.

Dr. Chong serves as an executive member of the Board of Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology, New England Otolaryngological Society, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. She has published several peer-reviewed papers.

She earned both her medical degree and Masters in Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in otolaryngology.
