Working at Mass. Eye and Ear, Longwood, Dr. Caroline Banks specializes in the treatment of facial nerve disorders, aesthetic facial surgery, and facial reconstruction. She focuses on the treatment of facial paralysis and Bell’s palsy, offering the complete spectrum of medical and surgical procedures for facial nerve disorders. Her practice also includes reconstructive surgery of the head and neck after skin cancer (Moh’s) surgery, trauma, and birth deformities.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine prior to completing her residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. After her residency, she pursued a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Mass. Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School.
