Dr. Alice Maxfield is a surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital who specializes in otolaryngology. Her specific interests include diseases of the nose and sinuses, endoscopic sinus surgery, sinonasal tumors, orbital disease, and general otolaryngology. Her research focuses on improving outcomes of sinonasal surgery, sinonasal polyp disease, and endoscopic approaches to orbital and sinonasal disease.

She received her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency in otolaryngology at Albany Medical Center. She then completed her fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery at Mass. Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School.
