Dr. Yoojin Chung is an Investigator at Mass. Eye and Ear, with research interests in auditory neuroscience and neural prostheses. In particular, she is interested in understanding how the central auditory pathway processes the sounds presented through auditory prostheses, and ultimately, improving treatments with hearing aids and cochlear implants for adults and children with various forms of hearing loss.

She employs neurophysiology, theoretical studies with computational modeling, and comparison with human studies to address various open questions in hearing science.
