Dr. Phoebe Yu is a fellowship-trained sleep surgeon with expertise in obstructive sleep apnea and sleep performance. She practices at Mass Eye and Ear's Main Campus, Longwood and Concord locations. Dr. Yu specializes in advanced surgical interventions for sleep-disordered breathing, including nasal and soft palate surgery, maxillary expansion, genioglossus advancement, and hypoglossal nerve stimulation. She takes a personalized approach to care, with the goal of helping her patients achieve better health and energy through improved sleep.

Dr. Yu is an accomplished researcher whose work has been recognized by the American Medical Association, American Academy of Otolaryngology, and American Thoracic Society, among other organizations. Her research focuses on improving outcomes in sleep surgery and advancing personalized medicine for obstructive sleep apnea.

Dr. Yu completed her undergraduate at Harvard College and earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her residency through the Harvard Combined Program in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Following her residency, Dr. Yu completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pennsylvania before returning to Mass Eye and Ear as faculty.
