Minjee Kim, MD, grew up in Seattle, Washington and graduated *summa cum laude* from Amherst College with a degree in biophysics. She subsequently matriculated at Harvard Medical School, where she completed the joint Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology joint MD program within the Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST). There, she completed thesis work on identifying combination therapy targets for *RAS*-driven cancers and graduated *magna cum laude.*

While at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Kim worked on several clinical and basic science research projects. She studied patient-reported outcome measures in hearing loss and allergic rhinitis under the guidance of [Jennifer J. Shin, MD, SM,](/people/jennifer-shin) and investigated patient outcomes after head and neck cancer surgery under the mentorship of [Jeremy D. Richmon, MD](/people/jeremy-richmon).

Her research interests include cancer genetics, patient-reported outcome measures, clinical outcomes, and medical education.
