Catherine Roy, MDMC, completed her medical degree and her residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

During her medical training, Dr. Roy was actively engaged in clinical research, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications spanning multiple areas of interest including perioperative patient education through audiovisual technologies and the safety of in-office procedures. Additionally, she received research funding from the Royal College of Canada Foundation and the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery to support her research assessing the surgical outcomes of Inuit patients of Northern Quebec. She received the prestigious Poliquin award for this work, highlighting the most impactful resident research presented at the annual Canadian Society of Otolaryngology meeting.

Dr. Roy is a clinical fellow in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a primary focus on facial reanimation surgery.
