Education in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School / Mass Eye and Ear is a collaborative effort between four clinical venues: [Mass Eye and Ear](http://www.masseyeandear.org/), [Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center](http://www.bidmc.org/Centers-and-Departments/Departments/Surgery/Otolaryngology.aspx), [Brigham and Women’s Hospital](http://www.brighamandwomens.org/Departments_and_Services/surgery/services/otolaryngology/default.aspx), and [Boston Children’s Hospital](http://www.childrenshospital.org/centers-and-services/department-of-otolaryngology-and-communication-enhancement). These institutions work together to provide comprehensive subspecialty training in otolaryngology, including exposure to:

- Head and neck oncology
- Facial plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Thyroid and parathyroid surgery
- Rhinology
- Laryngology
- Otology and neurotology
- Pediatric otolaryngology

We offer otolaryngology training at various levels, including residency training through the [HMS/Mass Eye and Ear Otolaryngology Residency Program](/residency-program), [clinical fellowships](/fellowship-program), [research fellowships](/fellowship-program), post-doctoral training, as well as [medical student education](/medical-student-education) and [sub-internships](/medical-student-education).
